Wouldn't know since I have a Pre and not a Tour..... but they're probably both fine....

I guess the question is should I return my VZW tour for a Pre on Sprint with the new unlimited plan which would save me about 15/ mth.

i think the call quality is quite great on the pre, never used a tour though. volume could be higher but the quality is really good.

Of course you could also just switch to a Tour on Sprint and still realize the savings.

We have both phones on demo lines here, there actual pretty comparable cant notice any real difference

I actually tested this exact thing the other day at the sprint store. I had my husband call me from the tour tester in the store, and then I called the same to test it. I thought everything sounded the same both ways honestly.

I had the bold and now I have the pre. the call quality is GREAT, but I'm also thinking Sprint is way better than ATT. The only thing is that reception sucks at my house .

You could get a network extender for your house. I believe Sprint offers one.
