friends pre getting really hot...

A fellow firefighter said his wife has had to turn her pre in 3 times already because her pre has gotten hot to the touch. Wondering if anyone else has had an issue with this? Reps at Sprint say they don't know why this is happening.

When I had my Pre I did remember the device getting warm. After a continuous amount of web browsing, watching youtube videos, or running four a five apps at once, the device would become warm. Way hotter than any other phone I have owned has gotten, easily. That's not what made me take it back though...

Poor, poor, build quality was the main reason. Small/cheap keypad, and the design was flawed when browsing landscape (had to turn Pre back to portrait to type...) and also the keypad resides in a lip or dish.

The WebOS was interesting and showed me a lot of positive signs for Palm in the future, however.

This is one of the most commonly reported problems of the Pre. Search for Hot Pre and pages pop up. Lots of them.

my pre would get hot as well but that was not why i returned it gave it a shot but im just a BB man love my tour
