EVDO is high speed data on CDMA (sprint and vzw and comes in rev 0 (768kbps) or rev A (1.5mbps), both are considered a 3G (3rd generation) technology but do not allow simultaneous voice and data. 3G is the GSM (T-mobile, att, most of the world) 3rd generation technology and comes in HSDPA/HSUPA/UMTS and is 3.6mbps or 7.2mbps. It does allow voice and data at the same time. A little clearer now?
