Default Strange BIS issues with Vodafone IT

Hi all,

I've a BB9780 with vodafone IT and BIS services. From about two months I've started to deal with strange BIS problem. The problem started when I was in London. My BB was usually connected to vodafone UK, after a trip to Oxford where my BB attached itself to O2 and Orange network I lost BIS connectivy. I contacted vodafone that time and they tried to manage some changes without solving the problem. My BB was to able to connect to BIS only using 2G connection, 3G wasn't able to connect to BIS.

When I came back to Italy problem remained. My BB periodically is not able to connect to BIS. Also today I lost BIS connectivty at 3pm at work ( i work i switzerland and I keep data connection off as I use company Wifi) and I was not able to gain it also when I came back to italy in the evening. When my BB attached again to local vodafone, BIS was available just for 10seconds and then was lost.

Vodafone of course said me everytime that is not a network problem. My BB is new (3 months of life) and running last version of OS6.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Hi,

I'm having the same issue. My blackberry has been working well since July. Now since Sunday i can't receive BBM or emails unless i'm connected to wifi.

Everything is up to date, and i called vodafone and they said i need to get a BES package. What they fail to understand is i don't need another package and i don't need to pay another £30 a month if it was working before.

They are being useless in fixing this issue.

Have you resolved this matter yet? If so ... how?!

Vodafone told me to do:
- Send my BB to assistance for probably an HW fault
- In case of not fault, request a new SIM card
