This dude is 100% bang on the nail.

Im with vodafone because of the tarriff's very cheap compared to some O2 offer. Although if i ring Vodafone i get some guy who has no clue what hes talking about. For example i rang the over day asking for my service books and he said i had to send my blackberry back to them to put them on.....?

Seriously. lol.

Can anyone help?

I haven't ever been with O2 on my BB, but my brother has been and he had a lot of trouble with them. Vodafone offer unlimited BB service for five pounds a month, that's what I'm on atm and I have had no problems whatsoever. They're even giving me the next three months for half price. I'd go with Vodafone.

It's all down to personal prefrence to be honest with you. I was with o2 on my curve 3G 9300 but then went to vodafone because they had a better deal on for the bb bold 9900 so I took it out on vodafone big mistake thought because my reception keeps dropping now and then but its all good I don't mind.

Vodafone wins hands down for me. I would really advise taking both networks for a test drive i.e get a pay & go sim from both providers and test in the area's you will be visiting.

Customer service, Speed and reception are all very good and from my personal experience would highly recommend vodafone. The loyalty discounts and prices are also better value for money.

I'm with Vodafone and yes the service is good, I have a SureSignal at home just for better coverage.

However Orange has UMA and that wins for me even now.

If you are really after a alternative, GiffGaff (O2 MVNO), £13pm for a BlackBerry tariff, unlimited data etc.

I'm on VF UK and have my BB set to 2G. It often displays EDGE and in rural areas it shows GPRS.

Sent from my RIM BlackBerry PlayBook.

That was posted way back in 2009 when Vodafone didn't have EDGE, just GPRS.
