Any Celcom-Vodafone/Maxis BlackBerry User?

Ahtiang... that is what you think... hahaha... with celcom bis... the 9530 can get it work.

I used to have the 9530 before and manage to make it work... get the BB hybrid os 5.0.0.238... that will help...
you will still have problem. need to ensure not to run out of battery and also the coverage area...

I am facing a strange problem with my BB 9780. I bought this only two months now but the problem started from the last two weeks.

1) I see most of the times when I talk the signal changes from 3G to GPRS in most places even Sunway / KLCC / LRT / Pavilion (major areas I am always in)

2) Sometimes I see there is no signal at all - Searching for network

Otherwise the phone is normally fine working well.

Currently using CELCOM Postpaid BIS plan

Tried swapping to MAXIS Prepaid works fine. The problems mentioned above happens but very less.

Tried wiping device and re installing software & also changed SIM

Still the same

Any solutions / suggestions? Do you think it is a phone / handheld or network problem?

hy all,,nice 2 meet all the bb users and i'm newbie here...
i just bought a storm 9530 verizon's unlock and i'm a DiGi prepaid user...
the problem is...
1. my phone can't check balance,when i taip *126# n Dial,it seem like dial a normal voice call n the operator say "the number you are dial is not in service"..but when i try dial this command with my other phone it working fine..can somebody help me fix my problem,what should i do????

2. i can't find how to setting the internet of this phone so i can't browse internet from my phone,,how to configure the internet setting??

#2 Not sure whether this will help or not but... have u activated the BlackBerry service? if you have, there shouldn't be any problem. if you haven't, then maybe you can check the blackberry page on DiGi website.

and what version Os u use??
my phone is 5.0.0.1041 and platform 4.2.0.456,,,have i must upgrade my firmware???

Q1 fyi I have try to check balance on Maxis prepaid, same like you meaning unable and result same like you but when I switch my sim card to Storm 9500 it is ok, in other words it could be because 9530 is actually CDMA configuration so it is different setting.

Q2 have you try check your phone setting, from the Home page go to Options/Advanced Option/TCP and under APN key in digimms, APN Name:mms and APN Password:mms

Oops for Q2 some correction
under APN key in Diginet for the APN Name and APN Password Both leave Blank

i have bought Blackberry Storm 2 9550 from US (Verizon) and currently using local network (Celcom), but got problem to sms to others, only can make call to others number. anybody can help me pls .....
