I felt for your "pain'...But too bad none of the local carriers offering prepaid BIS as in Indonesia. Since you're visiting here just for a month plus..registering for a 'temporary' BIS will cost you a hefty price unless you have a Malaysian passport. If that's the case..go for Maxis BIS without a voice plan. It's RM154+/month for superior services (they are the first local carrier to bring BB into Malaysia). The cheapest plan from Celcom is RM148+/month (must be bundled with a voice plan).

hi i am on Maxis BIS using Nokia E90 blackberry connect™, maybe thinkng of getting a BB device on the Celcom BIS, coz its cheaper

Digi does not have blackberry services. Your only option would be to use it on Maxis or Celcom.

I was prebooked the new BB Bold with the Celcom due to my 8707v was lost since last 2 weeks. Anybody have any idea until when I need to wait for this device?

I tough can get this on 15th Sept, but I never receive any call from them to update me the status.




I can't live without BB!!!

Well if u really cannot wait for the Bold, then maybe u can go to lowyat forum or lelong site to search for a 2nd hand BB while waiting for ur bold to arrive

Maxis 3G Bold service is simply the worst i have ever experienced. only buy this unit from maxis if you intend to port over your number to celcom which i have heard has a more stable connection. my bold keeps disconnecting or wont connect to bb 3g service - klcc and golden triangle of all places! the network is not ready for this unit as i have had nothing less than perfect connections abroad.
