9650 on Vodacom South Africa help
Hi.
I'm sorry if this has been asked before - but I need help with this please.
I have a Verizon BB bold 9650.
I am able to make and receive calls on the phone.
But I am unable to activate my BIS service.
I went to vodacom customer care and they told me that I need to load the South African software onto the phone - but they cannot do this and so I'm stuck now
I've tried fixberry and they cannot help me either.
Can anyone tell me what I can do to get this sorted?
Thank you - 05-22-2012, 08:04 PM #2
Maybe if you go to BlackBerryOS.com. They have all the latest leaked and official software to download. I'm not sure why it would be a problem to activate your BIS service. It should work no problem. Just make sure you have the latest software. Go on your Desktop Manager and check for updates. Or even go to your carrier's website and search for the latest device software for your phone. In order to activate your e-mail, you have to make sure you have the "e-mail set-up" installed on your device or else you won't be able to activate it. And you can install that from your BlackBerry Desktop Manager by going to applications and scrolling down to e-mail set up and install it. I hope this helps.
