Has anyone tethered their Playbook to their Blackberry on Virgin Mobile USA's network? I have been searching for user feedback on this but have not found much on it here.

Yes, I was able to bridge my playbook to my 8530. It was nice. I ended up returning my playbook after 2 weeks because it would no longer turn on. I plan to get another playbook after they get the bugs out.

Good to know! Thanks! What plan do you have? Would you have to change it in order to accomodate the playbook?

I had the $35 per month plan. It worked very well with the playbook.

Awesome - thanks for the feedback! RIM recently sent out a deal for the Playbook for $199 - might be time to get one

I'm also curious about tethering, not to a PB though. I want to do it to my laptop. Has anyone else done this? If so, how? I don't know how to go about this, do I use the desktop manager? Would I need the latest version?

I've attempted to tether my VM 8530 through DM on my PC, with no luck. I HAVE been able to do so with PDANet on my laptops, but have only done so at my home, where the Sprint coverage is usually two bars max on standby, not a lot of browsing with that setup. Bridging my PB to my phone works great, although I've discovered if the PB has been on for over a day, sometimes I have to reboot it before it will connect. Otherwise, no complaints. Got my PB the day 2.0 dropped, so I don't know from the original OS, but I've been really happy with mine.
