 Verizon Blocks Google Wallet
Interesting. Looks like the wireless carriers want to join forces to maybe create their own NFC Wallet app. I'm guessing that would be to help create some uniform standards rather than rolling out various versions of a wallet that retailers would have to accommodate, and/or to help prevent the eventual shakeout that would eventually happen anyway as a single most popular wallet platform emerged.
