Tether not working as of 9/1?

I previously used Tether on my VZW 9930 without a problem. Today problem.

I suspected the day Verizon would shut off Tether without a special data plan was coming. Is this the day??

Just Tethered my phone to the laptop. Still works for me. Did you update your firmware recently? Mine had the same issue, reverted to old firmware and was good to go.

Thanks. I did go to a leaked .3?? OS 7. Good to know that's the issue.

Help! I got the new 9930 Bold with Verizon and I am having similiar issues. I'm on the stock OS (7.0.0.254)

I am able to launch Tether, but about 30 seconds after being online, the Tether speeds slow down drastically to the point where I'm not able to load/navigate websites any longer. Sometimes I'll get an error on my phone, which will cause it to re start.

Frustrating -- I didn't have any problems at all with my old BB Tour.

Any ideas?
