Thumbs down Taxes taxes taxes!

Hi,
I searched this forum and I assessed that most of the users who are in california pay more government fees than someone outside of california. But mine is totally different. I'm in arizona right now and I'm paying $10.86. However, on this site, it says that california has the higher state tax..Is there a way to get these taxes back?? Could the users in Cali / Arizona verify this please? I called the customer rep and she wasn't helpful at all...

CA also charges you tax on the full retail pricing for the handset regardless of what you paid for it (ie, if a phone cost $0.01, tax is based on MSRP $499 or whatever)...

California tax authorities have ruled that when buying a phone bundled with a service contract, that you are effectively paying full price for the phone, paying part up front, and the rest out of the monthly fees over the term of the contract. Thus, sales tax is due on the full non-contract price of the phone. We pay a lot one-time for the sales tax on the phone, but the monthly state taxes are quite low (like $1.05, as noted in a previous post).

Let's see your fees?

I'm complaining because I was getting charged less in California than in Arizona. Besides, why can't I raise this matter?
