Trolling the list of available BBs on Verizon and the Storm has moved to the temporarily unavailable. Looks like a possible move for the new touch device.

My local store had it on display next to the 9930 just two days ago. Hard to believe there would be any walk in demand for it at this stage of the game, but kudos to the store for at least having a "selection" of Berries.

This marking the 9550 as unavailable seems to be a regional thing. It still shows up as available in the San Francisco Bay Area as of Sept 1 afternoon.

The storm 2 had such a bad review on their website I am suprised they sold at all!

My local VZW store had it next to the 9930 for $199 on contract last night still lol

Verizon must of purchased a ton of storm 2's for them to still have them available. What a total failure by rim! RIM should give a discount to storm series owners for putting up with the devices so long.
