I have an SMS icon...you mean on the home screen? Where it separates out SMS messages from e-mail?

Maybe you just need to go into the messaging options and select "separate" the message folders? Or maybe it's hidden?

Yeah I don't see it, and it's not hidden. It was in plain view on my 8830. I'm going to try the separation thing.
