Yahoo Go is a really cool Carasoule (Spelling?) Type of 3PA that is neat. It has everything Yahoo.com has + you can download widgets to it, like Wikipedia, Myspace, EBay...I had it on my Pearl, and could not WAIT to download it to my Curve when I traded up, needless to say I'm in the same position as you guys. Waiting until they release it (if)

I tried it on my Pearl, and honestly wasn't too impressed. Just my opinion.

I started a thread on this weeks ago when I got my Telus 8330. It says my device is not supported. I used to use it on my 8700r, so now I miss it. It was a quick way to view my Yahoo email and Flickr photos.
Hopefully they update it soon. - 05-15-2008, 10:25 AM #15
It worked perfectly fine on my 8830

Switch to Google Apps
Perhaps switch to Google - nice email interface and a few cool gadgets like Maps and Picasa
Just another reason to ask yourself "I am still using Yahoo because...?"

Yahoo Go is nice but the feature(s) I have a problem with is the traffic center. It doesn't give accurate updates at all and that's one of the main features I like to use because of my driving distances and route. Since my 8320 doesn't have GPS, I really like to have traffic updates.
I upgraded to a BB to integrate my devices that I use everyday (MP3 player, Mobile phone, etc) to avoid getting a separate GPS device. But I do love my BB! Yahoo's 'realtime' traffic center needs some serious work! - 05-19-2008, 12:56 PM #20

I don't know what you're talking about, really. Verizon really only locks down GPS and Bluetooth. That's hardly 'everything'.

*Update*
Everytime, i go to a website (myspace) I always got "the carrier does not support this file type" message.
Well I just got a call back from customer service and there was a problem on their end with my calling plan or something and they said it should be fixed.
Well I went to myspace and facebook and it is fixed

So hopefully after 3 curves I can begin to enjoy my first blackberry!Shawn
