    If you're connected to the Enterprise Server, you get 51992, otherwise you get 51965.

    However, if your device has WiFi, do the update while you are fully connected to WiFi, as your Blackberry thinks it's connected to Enterprise and you get the 51992. No idea what the difference is ...

    How do you check which version you are running?
    Dial #4357* and hit send. You'll see a line for PRL Version.

    My Droid X is not on an Enterprise and I got 51992....

    I am on wifi and I only get 51965.

    bb storm 2 in BIs and i updated and got 51965 just moments ago...idk if it depends on where you are or what device you have but it seems there are a few different verisons floating around out there

    Yes. Former Alltel customer. Does that mean I'm not getting the full monty with my Verizon accout?

    In fact, I'm pretty sure I'm still on a grandfathered in Alltel plan.

    Other devices can connect to an enterprise, like Palm, WinMo or Android, this just allows them to connect to a centralized server that transfers the needed data...
    If you are thinking about Blackberry Enterprise Service, then yes, only BB's can connect to a BES.
