My Verizon Account on BB

What we all have been waiting for, I think.

Launch Browser.
VZStart page is displayed.
Select My Verizon from the VZStart page.
Download the My Verizon application.
After download is complete, revisit the BB landing page.
Select My Verizon icon, created first time application is downloaded.
View/Manage your account

If this is not your home page go to mobile.vzw.com Also your emulation must be set to Blackberry in the browser settings.

Everything worked great, however it would not take my pin # to change features. I assume it is the same pin I give the CSR on the phone when they ask for it before they help.

Glad to see VZW got this rolled out.

Not the password on your billing acoount. Should be the password that you use to login to your account online I would think

This only allows for 5 characters so I think it is the password on account not MyVerizon. Can't get it to work and I am sure my password is correct. Hope they fix this. Nice app tho.

Interesting, try this. In our billing system the account password gets entered all in caps for letters and well numbers are just that. Try all the letters in CAPS and let me know. Yes up to 5 characters would be the billing password. I have not tried any changes yet. I got the info online at work for my first post, but did not read the documentation yet. sorry

I have 4 numbers only and still can't get it to work.

I use my 5 digit Zip Code associated with my account as the password.
It will also ask for the last 4 digits of your social

Okay, I am sorry to hear this, I am not at work till Sinday now. You can either call CS or wait and I will se what I can find out on Sunday. Not sure which dept is handling these issues yet, but I will say it would be our E-services group.

I was able to download the app using the link provided by irie, but all that happens is that I see the Can You Hear Me Now guy in front of the US. After about 20 seconds, I get a dialog box that says " Sorry, we are unable to connect to Verizon Wireless servers. Please try again after some time." I disabled compatibility mode as stated above. I chose allow to the request made when I first ran the app. Do I need to edit the permissions also?

So your password is your zip code? Does it allow you to log in? Does anyone with a password containing 5 numbers (ex. 12345) have issues as well?

i was asked for my billing zip code when i signed in, not my password...

Weird. Worked fine for me. Did you disable compatibility mode? Also try reconnecting again or a battery pull.

While trying to pay bill it asks for SS# and then password. That's where we are having issues.

Good looking out Irie.

I'll head over to this thread from my Storm in a bit and check it out.

Maybe we should get this jad added to the Storm OTA thread in the Storm 3rd Party Apps Sub Forum.

EDIT: It's probably likely VZW is working on a Storm version and it's just not ready yet.

Yes, I disabled compatibility mode. I set all the permissions to allow. I used the Soft Reset app to restart my phone and also physically pulled the battery. Still getting the same message.

The FAQ's on the VZW website for this application does not state it will work on the Storm. Now, this might mean that the site has not yet been updated to include the storm, or it should not work. Hard to tell at this point.
