I cannot wait for it to come out, so that I can at least see it in person! I wonder at this point what the hold up is from coming out with a release date.

Carrier approval process is very slow and cumbersome...

If they get it soon and decide to enable the hotspot feature then they may well keep my business, otherwise I will probably switch to an HSPA+ carrier that enables hotspot!

Are there any BB's that can use Mobile Hotspot?

The 99XX will have trhe ability but it will be a carrier decision IF it's enabled or not. Or so we are hearing.

My upgrade date is Sunday, so this phone will be mine the day it drops!

One concern I have is that as we all know, Verizon has been pushing everything but Blackberry's the past many months. I fear that they will not be any hurry to get the 9930's into the stores. I hope I am wrong!

Since its something Verizon can charge for, I'm sure it will have it.

I am not eligible for an upgrade for a few more months. I am hoping that the mobile hot spot will be a feature that Verizon will enable. I would be willing to pay for it.

PK....assuming Verizon will charge for the hotspot functionality, why not just buy a Verizon MyFi unit??? Cost would likely be about the same. Of course, if you are thinking about Voldemorting with your 9930, then that is a different equation altogether.....

It will almost definitely be a pay feature. iPhones have it, along with some droids, and you gotta pay to use it :/
