Strange that Sprint has both Bold 9930 and Curve 9350 w/OS 7, while Verizon only has the Bold thus far. Could be many things they won't tell us... Too many old Curve left in the warehouse, waiting for OS 7.1, rumors of bugs with Sprint's new Curve, debate about (rumored) 4G, etc.

Verizon will have to do a new "downmarket" BB eventually to hit that price point with OS 7. But all the internet chatter about release date seems to have gone cold.

Verizon will likely release the 9350, but probably not the 9370. The difference is that the 9350 is CDMA only, while the 9370 is CDMA and GSM, making it a world phone... But Verizon already has the 9930 and 9850, which are both world phones. They will likely want you to buy the more expensive Bold and Torch if you want world phone functionality.

Also, if I were in your situation, I would probably buy the Bold, or switch to Sprint and get the Curve, seeing as you already have a CDMA-only device.

Sure, it’s going to kill a lot of people, but they may be dying of something else anyway.

...and yes there could be an ongoing debate between 9370 & 9350. Internet chatter earlier suggested 9370 was coming, but perhaps Verizon wants to push global travelers up to 9930. Or Vodafone wants to push 9370 to give those world travelers an option at a lower price point. Or both... Who knows.

All that said, I'd like to get the wife a 9350/70. But not a 9930 as I want to have a nicer phone than her...

The 9370 shows up in their "compatible phones" list for accessories but the phone is still not on sale. Methinks their waiting for their 9330's to be completely sold out but who knows when that will be.

Why switch? Get a bold.

BlackBerry Bold® 9930 using Tapatalk of course.

According to The Verge, a number of Verizon phones (including the Curve 3G) are getting discontinued this month. I'm guessing the 9370 will be released thereafter.

The tipster also says a number of other devices will be getting the axe, including the LG Revolution (after a scant seven months on the market), the BlackBerry Curve 3G, and the Palm Pre 2.
