Default 9930 is the best phone ever

    Picked mine.

Shame that RIM got into Verizon's doghouse after that Storm disaster (I wonder who was pressuring them to add a touch screen device).

9930 is smooth, and touch interface in addition to trackpad and keyboard (best phone keyboard ever) is very useful.

    Get one.

Pretty sure this should be in the 9900/9930 forum . But glad you like the phone.

An important observation is how much RIM is in the doghouse. I was surprised, but frankly, do not care much. I am good for the next three years, and then, who knows. Their best phone (the new Bold) was in the corner, with not an ad in sight. I hate Verizon, but they got the towers where I need them.

Ok I'll do it. I was kinda holding out for the Torch, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought I'd really enjoy that Bold.

If the Torch 2 came out I would probably want it but anyone have an idea of what the cost would be for a 2 year contract?
