Default Will EVDO be expanded?
I live between 2 towns that have EVDO. But I'm stuck on 1X :-(
Will USCC be expanding EVDO?
Fwiw I have the latest prl.

If their 2009 news releases here U.S. Cellular are any indication, they've been fairly actively adding cell cites that provide "3G" services in specific coverage areas. They certainly haven't hesitated to issue press releases about each new cell tower

There aren't any areas that USCC never intends to cover with EVDO, I recall reading that something like 80 or 85% of their subscriber base already has it. My recollection is that everyone should have it by the end of Q1 2010.

Yeah I am here in central Kansas with 1x as well. I am just trying to be patient, I have been with US Cellular for 6 years, I have been tempted to switch for evdo but us cellulars service and customer support are top notch. Besides they are up to the southern Kansas border, only 100 miles away

Just make sure you periodically do a *228 b/c one day EVDO will just pop up and without the latest PRL you won't get it.
