Question What should i do???

My current phone is a Tour that i love! such a great phone if you ask me.

The only thing i hate is the fact that it doesn't have WiFi at all! and that's something that i need or is a must for me. Been with the phone since it first came out to USCC so i'm close to a year or so. now i just found out that USCC took the Tour off the site and that they have a lineup of phones coming in just weeks or few months.

HTC Desire
Blackberry Bold 9650

Both of those phones have WiFi and from what i was reading the only upgrade from my Tour to the Bold 9650 would be WiFi, Memory and the Trackpad. but would the 9650 Load web pages faster compare to my Tour?
I'm trying to see what my next phone will be and was wondering what you guys would pick???

If it were me, I would get the Bold. I had a Tour for about 30 days during June/July then returned it so I could get the Bold when it comes out. If you really love your Blackberry, then it's an obvious choice, but if you're up for trying something new, go Desire.
And if you're talking about loading pages over WiFi, it would be faster than over 1X.

I know nothing about Android. But with the Desire just a few weeks from now i started to wonder then just today i found out about the Bold 9650.

Since Tour doesn't have WiFi and because of my location, i'm under "1XEV" kind of like 3G for USCC i guess. the pages load just a bit slow but nothing bad for me. I really need WiFi to since something i'm in places with no signal and only WiFi around. But would the Bold 9650 load pages under the carries signal not using WiFi i mean?

Ohhh, you're in 3G coverage. I'm not, unfortunately, so I forgot USCC had it. Haha. But no, I'm pretty sure it will load pages at the exact same speed over 1XEV as the Tour does. There's no change in processor speed, and the memory bump really shouldn't have a big change on that. Fortunately, though, the Bold will be upgradable to Blackberry 6 with the new and improved browser which should make loading faster.

I have the 8330 now, I think I'm going to try out the Desire for 30 days & see if losing the physical keyboard is too much to give up, if so I plan to trade it back in for the Bold.

Like they say, if it's not broken don't fix it. Get the Bold...but you can always "test" out the desire and then exchange it for the Bold.

let me know how that goes and give me your 2cents on the Desire!
That's another reason why i want 9560 over my Tour since i won't be able to upgrade into OS6
But thanks for all of your help guys!

The other definite benefit with the 9650 will be BB6. Since they already announced the 9650 will be getting BB6, it will have a much better web browser than the Tour. So more memory, wifi, trackpad, and BB6.

I would love to trade in my Tour for a Bold 9650, but I'll have to wait until the end of May before I'm eligible.

Bye Bye Blackberry. I have two upgrades coming on the families account. I am going with the Desire. I am done WAITING on rim playing catch up. Only thing I will miss is rims security. A faster processor, bigger screen and resolution, more apps and a stab at Flash. Decision was very easy. It is time for a change and thanks to USCC.
Work provides me with an 8330 so I will keep up with BB.

My teenage daughter ran her HTC touch for a couple months and starting having nothing but trouble with it. She put it in the dresser drawer and has her old curve back out.
