Anybody downloaded this yet through BB desktop manager yet? I just did haven't noticed much change other than media buttons on the media player look different. And aftward I hooked it back up through BB Mgr again said the same udates were available for me to download to my BB after I already did? What is up with that?

I just downloaded yesterday but seems fine so far coming from .508. I will say I got a chance to try out the new navigator- awesome. Not used to stuff like this from US Cell. thought I might have to reboot just to make sure I was still with them

Couldn't resist the temptation and installed it a couple of days ago. I've also noticed less free memory and decreased battery life. I've also noticed other general bits of instability and weirdness as well, like email messages refusing to delete. This is the first time I've run into trouble since I owned my Curve, and probably going to downgrade the OS also unless I can figure out how to mitigate these issues.

I've noticed this in general with an 8530 vs 8330.

Forgive me if these issues are not from latest release, but I have noticed:

1. removed the ability to receive an audible notification alert when a voicemail is received - no option in sound prfile

2. lost ability to assign keyboard lock to a convenience key - it's a pain to have to exit to home screen lock keyboard. i am using password lock currently but keing PW is getting old

Maybe those of you that are having issues should upgrade to .886

How do you roll back? I updated to the new version and my phone is so messed up. My trackpad is not functioning, certain keys won't work, I can't send SMS.

Download and install Blackberry Desktop Manager as well as the version OS you want on your computer. Plug your Blackberry in and run the AppLoader, which will ask you if you want to downgrade.
