uscellular voicemail

Hey has anyone else had a problem with the voicemail icon being displayed even after all the messages are checked and none of them are set to save as new? Is uscellular having a problem with their voicemail system? This is the first time i have experienced this.I have a BB 8330 curve.Thanks guys and gals.

Call your phone and leave yourself a voicemail, then check your voicemail on the device and delete. It should go away...

I had this problem with my WindMo phone through USCC. I would usually just pull the battery amd it would go away.

i just had this problem two weeks ago. i called the us cellular customer service and the lady called my phone and left a message and told me to delete it and it worked.

I stopped using U.S. Cellular's voicemail. Using Google Voice instead at the moment.

I set my 8330m to use Google Voice for my voice mail but it seems like it only works about 10% of the time. Any ideas?

This was an issue on my Pearl in certain geographic areas (worse in a town 90 miles from home). Doesn't seem to be a problem with the Tour.
