As a monthly subscriber to Tone Room Deluxe, you will receive 2 credits for $4.99/mo. All ringtones and ringback tones cost 1 credit each. If at any time you have used all available credits, you may continue to purchase ringtones and ringback tones at $2.49 each. Ringback tones expire after 6 months.

I can't wait to see if the people who have been clamoring for ringbacks will actually be willing to pay $60/year to have them.

Yeah, sounds like a big ripoff to me. You can't share the ringtones either.

I'm not a big fan of ringbacks...quite the contrary, I'm an opponent of them so I hope the cost drives people away.

Of course the people I call aren't the type of people who would buy them anyway.

Also important to note, as I found out the hard way, purchased ringtones are only for that particular phone. You can't transfer them to another phone, you have to BUY them all over again on the new phone. That truly bites. I've never bought another ringtone again; I get all mine on Myxer or Zedge.

Remember that when you BUY ringtones on US Cellular. Really pist me off when I found that out.
