Upgrading OS

Currently have a 9630 running 5.0.0.484. I am wondering if I can upgrade to OS6 and if so how I go about it. Also have some apps on there that I want to make sure I dont lose on the phone and want to ensure that I keep them.

Any help will be appreciated.

BB6 does not run on the Tour 9630, you can upgrade tothe latest OS5 version.

Yeah. I don't understand why the Tour can't handle OS6, though. Seems weird.

I remember reading somehwere that the trackpad was required equipment.

I've tried several OS's on my tour and it seems to run best with .484.

484 is an old one. For the brief time I had a Tour I ran 643 which was rock solid, I think I heard good things about 662 as well.

It's funny how the same model reacts differently to the different OS's. I tried both of those and had things that didn't work well. Not saying they will be the same on another persons tour.

Hey, if 484 works for you, then that's the one to go with. I got my Tour with whatever Verizon was pushing in June of last year, but read up in the forums on which one got the best reviews.

I agree, one person's experience is in no way indicative of everyone's experience. Wait a minute....did we just agree on something?

Yeah, I read the reviews also and tried them all, hybrids etc. but I keep going back to .484 cause my phone has the least issues with it.
