Price of 9650 is back up

Has anyone else noticed that they raised the price on the 9650? For a while it was selling for well under $100 now its back up to around $130 or $140. I don't remember the exact ammount.

When they lowered the price the speculation was that they were clearing out inventory to prepare for the 9930.

Do we dare speculate the other direction now? Like maybe the 9930 isn't doing well in testing or maybe it won't be available on USCC for quite some time?

Maybe it was just put on sale for a while and now it's over but I don't remember the "special offer" tag on the website and they haven't raised the price on the Curve.

Anybody care to take a guess?

It could be a good three months (or more) before a new Blackberry is available through US Cellular. They're probably just waiting to put it on sale again. I don't know why anyone would pay so much for a phone that's over a year old (IIRC) at this point.

I agree 100%. It's way over priced. I thought the sale price was fair and where it should have stayed.

I'm a little paranoid about USCC and BlackBerry since the Style failed testing. I was looking foreward to that phone.

Now the Bold 9650 is now $69.00. (with $100 rebate) on the USCC website. They need to clear them out before the new phones arrive.

It must just be a cycle they go through...I imagine they dropped the price for back to school or off-to-college people...would help to clear out stock before all the berry sweetness arrives!

I hope the berry sweetness arrives soon. As of yesterday, I have enough belief points to upgrade. It sure was a lot easier to be patient when I didn't have an upgrade available.

I poked a customer service agent the other day about the Torch. She replied that it's coming any day now and that she had held it and played with it and that it is AWESOME.

Either you were looking at the pre-rebate price, an old ad, or there was a glitch because they're priced at $69.99 and $9.99 on USCC's website right now.
