Default OS 6.0 for Bold 9650?

Does anyone know when the OS 6.0 upgrade will be available for the Bold 9650?

US Cellular is usually 3-6 months behind other carriers OS releases as they test the heck out of them. So your best bet will be to get from another carrier when available and delete the vendor.xml file.

Ran this for two weeks and couldn't figure out why I had no data connection when roaming.

Bottom line is USC doesn't support it if you're running OS6, and while I really like this OS, I need a solid data connection when traveling so OS5 is going back on tomorrow!

I'm running Sprints on USCC. Have had no issues. Did you resend service books?

I run Sprint's 415 on my Verizon Bold and everything works. VZW doesn't support it either.

Try resending service books like Scoob suggested.

No, don't believe I did, I'll have to reinstall and give it a try!

But you're both roaming and have your data connection? Not just 1X??

Thx,

Chip

I'm currently running the newest 6.0.0.431 from Verizon. It's running great.

Hey all,

I'm new to blackberry (I have had an android for a while), and I am trying to upload the Verizon OS 6 on my US Cellular Bold 9650.

I see that some of you have done this already, so if its possible could you post or send me a message on the step-by-step process on how to do this?

I found another thread about this, tried their steps, and its still not working.

Thanks in advance!
