No US Cell web service in chicago area?

Are any other us cell BB users having problems with web today? I have BBM working just great, texts, emails, twitter through ubersocial but web pages refuse to load, over 3g and wifi.

Any thoughts? I've done 2 battery pulls and nothing seems to be fixing it.

Just got off the phone wiith us cell and its fixed. Turned off the phone first, then pulled the battery...duh...neve would have guessed.

I had the same trouble yesterday. Native browser wouldn't work hardly at all.

Bolt worked a little better and AppWorld was a no-go.

Glad it's fixed. Did they say what the problem was?

It's not fixed for me. I still have no luck with my native browser over the network.

It works over wi-fi and Bolt works just fine.

I don't really want to call in. The first thing they will want me to do is downgrade the os on my phone. My gut tells me that this will be a long drawn out process to find out the problem is on their end or with BIS.

Then again maybe no one else is having problems and it is my phone.

She had me power down the phone, then do a battery pull. After that the native browser worked fine. She never asked me about the os I was running. Are you running a hybrid?
With mine, I had twitter, bbm, and email all working but not web. After the power down and batt pull, everything was good. Now I'm working over wifi as well...that wasn't working a couple days ago.

I tried a battery pull and it didn't help me any. Like you I had everything except the native browser.

I was running the .524 leak. I reinstalled the official US
cellular release and everything is working again for me.
