Default Network Issues? Or phone 8530

So I just got a BB 8530 about a month ago and have noticed every now and then, the phone just decides to turn off and reboot on its own. I checked about 3 times to make sure I don't have the auto off set and I don't. It has done this about 6 times in the past month and is quite annoying since it takes so long to reboot. Anyone else with ideas or same issue?

How are you using 5.0.0.459? I have the 8530 also and my phone says it's on 5.0.0.337. Am I missing something? I didn't see any updates on USCC's website.

He's using an OS from another carrier. Easy to do, just download it, and delete the vender.xml file.

Sounds interesting I've never done that before and would be affraid I would mess it up. But it would be so nice if it fixed the battery draining issue. Is there a list of fixes or updates for this version of the update?

I'm using verizon's .508 and did help with battery life. Very big difference. I was nervous too but it went pretty smooth as long as you follow the instructions closely as posted many places on here. There are even more recent updates but I haven't tried them yet.

When you do that does it limit the function of the phone by any way since it's from another provider?

Ghostrider??

Do you have any instructions you recommend? Also I want to know how much battery life is normal. I use my phone quite a bit and it usually lasts a day before it dies.

Sounds like it might be hidden. Go into your folder options and make sure that everything is set to "show all"
