My contacts backup that us cellular has

I upgraded to 0S 5.0 and since upgrading i can't do my contacts backup anymore it doesn't recongnize my phone.Anyone else had this problem worked fine with OS 4.7.Thanks!

My Contacts Backup does not work with an OS that is not released by USCC. You will have to run .53 or what ever they released for it to work. You can do a backup with DM and it will save your contacts.

That's depressing. I liked the OTA backup that it provides, especially since I don't plug my phone into my computer very often.

Google Sync is a good alternative. It syncs both calendar and contacts.

I had the same issue when I upgraded my phone to OS 5.0N but personally, I used and prefer google sync anyway. It is much easier to modify addresses in your gmail account than on the USC contacts backup site anyway, and it keeps your calendar synced. I think that Google also makes a contacts-calendar sync app for your desktop so you can wirelessly keep your contacts and calendar in sync detween your desktop and your BB.

I'm running a leaked OS 5.0.0.419 on my USCC Tour 9630 and MyContactsBackup works for me. However, prior to that, I contacted USCC support because it stopped working with my OS 4.7. Which is reverse of what your issue is. But I also use BES and Google Sync. SO I'm overprotected.
