Default Help!

I want to go back to a blackberry phone and I'm going to go in early January because thats when the rest of my family can get new phones although if I wanted to switch to blackberry now I could. However, I have a few questions.

Do I go with the Blackberry Bold or the Curve 9330? I don't like the new flip coming out
Also, if I should get one of those phones should I go for it now or do I wait to see if early in 2011 US Cellular will come out with a better phone that I will like?

Just curious what some people think. Thanks.

I don't have a Blackberry right now. I had the blackberry flip just over a year ago when it first came out to US Cellular. I got rid of it (didn't want to pay for the internet fee but now it's whatever to me) for the lg i'm not sure and it sucks.

I'm not looking for something used sorry. I'm the type of guy that has to have it new. I'm just looking for what people think but it seems some people are as confused as me as to what I should do.

The Bold has better screen resolution (480x360 versus 320x240), a better camera (with flash, something missing on the Curve), a slightly larger and longer battery, an included 2 GB media card, and to me is more attractive. The Curve has a dedicated media button and is lighter.

If money is no option I'd get the Bold easily; however, the Bold is $100 more expensive. I got the Bold back in September, but honestly if I was making the choice now it would be hard to ignore that significant of a price difference. The value decision will be yours to make however.

I'd add that I find the keyboard on the Bold/Tour to be superior to those of the various Curve iterations, but the OP should probably head to a store to play with both of them and make the ultimate determination (at least on the keyboard) as it's a matter of personal preference.

Now those are the answers i'm looking for. Thanks. However the question is...Do I go now to get it as I'm able to or should I wait until late december/early January when the rest of my family is eligible for new phones and maybe something new will come out or possibly OS 6?

In January the only other BB that will be out for USCC will be the Style. It's essentially a Bold with a flip form factor (although not as good of screen resolution). If you want that phone specifically then wait; otherwise there won't be anything else new out at that time. There may be rumors or even official news of other phones coming by that time, but then you'd just be waiting even more. Eventually you gotta make the plunge at some point. With the Bold and Curve, I think you're getting a good device either way. And both have OS6 available now if you feel comfortable running a leaked, non-official OS. I am running the 6.0.0.280 leak on my Bold and had never run a leak or hybrid previously. Install was actually incredibly easy. There's still some minor bugs, but I like it a lot overall. And before January we should have an official OS6 to install, if not on US Cellular then from a different carrier. If you need help on the process or have questions, feel free to ask.

By the way, curious what your screenname stands for? Is it as simple as you like Wisconsin sports teams or something different?
