got wierd emails today ...

I have a blackberry pearl 8130. Got it about a year ago. Today it sent me that I had asked for my password. It sent it to me more then once. I also got a new icon and my blackberry email is sent up in it. What's up with my phone?

Hmmm... Sounds like someone with a similar username is trying to remember their password, or hack yours.

More than likey, it is someone who has a username siilar to yours and they keep trying to get their password back.

Unless it's a Hotmail account and they're asking you to recertify the account, which they do every year or so, IIRC.

It sounded like they said it was confirming his request for his password, like someone clicked on the "forgot my password" link on the page, rather than a request to confirm their account.
