Default EOL for 9330 and 9650

Both of USCC's current BlackBerry phones are going to be done for come September.

I hope and pray that the 9650 will be replaced by the Bold Touch.

Yeah I just saw on the uscc website that they dropped the price of the bold from 129 to 69 just today. That would be cool if the Bold touch came to US Cell.

We can hope.

I had a customer service rep tell me that the Style failed testing because it wouldn't play well with the network. Nothing was wrong with the phone itself or how it ran etc. Just wouldn't communicate with the wireless network quite right.

Make me a little nervous for RIM's new releases this year.

Nope. It failed testing because it was a turd and ran slower than a snail on the salt flats.

Slower than a snail on the salt flats is pretty darn slow. USCC must have higher standards than Sprint.

How far into the future does the release list go? I can't tell on my phone.

I would assume that new BBs won't be released untill after the current are done. Right?

I would "think" that a new BB will be released before both phones are taken off the shelves. I seriously doubt that RIM will let any carrier go any period of time with NO BB models for sale, but then again I may be completely wrong.

I had been led to believe by a CSR that a new BB was on the horizon in a couple of months. Don't know what and he wouldn't say but the implication was clear.

Granted that I don't have the sources that BigE has, but from what I have been hearing through the grape vine, it looks like the Monaco is up to bat for testing and pending the results of USCC's "biggest loser last chance workout" testing, the Monaco just may be the next BB to hit USCC.
