Belief plan phone replacement

Phone replacement with the belief plan is awesome no more deductible everytime your phone is damaged.And the phone is delivered the next day.Only $100 if phone is lost or stolen.

What was the circumstances of you needing a replacement and did you get a new or refurbished phone?

well my mom pearl flip speaker went out and they sent a new phone.On the tour the trackball stops and sticks and do whatever it wants so i called today for replacement should get replacement phone tomorrow to know if its new or refurbished.

It just sucks because the belief plans are higher priced and the $3 daily data charge on most of them sucks! BB's are ALWAYS sending and receiving data, so I probably won't switch just to avoid a possible extra $90 data charge on my bill!

I switched to belief plan and saved $185 a month.

I didn't see a plan that would benefit me. Currently my wife and I share 1000 minutes, have unlimited incoming, m2m & n&w, as well as 2 BB's @ $25 each, but my monthly bill is only $119 after taxes and since we don't txt (except through google voice), there is no need for a messaging package. If u see a package that might work better for me, please let me know so I can make the switch.

I looked into the new plans. With 4 regular phones and my bb would cost another 80 bucks a month over the 210 paying now. Not worth that to me. Gonna have to do better than that for me to have 'belief' they want to keep me as a customer

You must be on a pretty old plan I assume? My wife and I were on the Nationwide 1000 promo plan and it was $69.99 plus $19.99 for my wife's data plan and $25 for my BB plan before taxes. If you're at $119 after taxes, that's pretty darn cheap. I assume it's a local or regional plan, and roaming/nationwide isn't included? If not, then it's highly doubtful you'll save, just as you would have paid more if you had chosen to go to the Nationwide 1000 that was offered before.

I am actually ON the nationwide promotional plan that you are talking about but my wife and I both have the $25 BB plans. Unless I wanted to do some serious texting or was always pushing my limits with 1000 minutes, these new plans are way too expensive for me. I have VERY rarely even received the overage protection txt messages and I signed up for it the first month it was available, so I know we don't need more than 1000 minutes.

What plan and extras do you have now and what plan did you compare to? You estimated $290 for 5 phones, with four of them regular phones? That doesn't seem right.

You can get 5 smart phones with 1500 minutes and unlimited text/picture messaging for $259.99 (Essential Plus Family plan).

You could do the Family Essential Plan which is 1200 minutes, free incoming, free mobile to mobile, free nights and weekend, and unlimited texting. It's $99 for two lines, $20 for each additional standard line. Then add a $30 BB plan and you have a grand total of $190. So it would actually be cheaper that way.

The only difference might be if you HAD to have insurance, which you can add for $5.95 per line. Insurance, with the increase to a $100 deductible, is a bad deal especially with you having so many regular phones.

So even if you add insurance to each line, it only comes out to $220.

Hope this helps, as you could actually be saving a lot of money it sounds like with a Belief Plan, and getting more benefits.

Correction..... My current plan is actually $133 after taxes, $119 before.

The $3.00 a day charge is for the easy edge service and not blackberry data. I thought the same thing initially before talking with a rep. You will need the blackberry data package only. And yes the belief plan sucks for me also. No benefit at all. I'm thinking of going to Verizon.

EDITED: I missed you had 2 regular phones, which totally threw all of my numbers off. Looks like the old plan is the better option for you.
