I sort of think, why not? Unless they stop carrying BB altogether. The bigger question is probably, WHEN?

I cannot imagine USCC without BB's. That would be terrible

My guess is that IF RIM can get the BBX phone released in the first quarter, (big if) we won't see them hitting carrier's shelves until the second quarter at the earliest. Which probably will have USCC releasing it at the late second or early third quarter time period.

Nothing but a guess though. After all, they were right on time with the Torch 9850 but the Bold 9930 is nowhere to be found.
Personally, I've given up on trying to chase the latest/greatest/next big thing. For me, when it's time for an upgrade I look at what's on the shelf right now and pick one.

Edit: one more thought on the subject. I have NOT seen any rumors that indicate the first BBX phone (colt) will have a cdma counterpart.

Just a thought on your last thought there...maybe they'll take a page from apple and do dual radios like the i4s. I mean as long as we're all dreaming, right?

That would make a lot of sense to me. However, nobody asks me.

I am wondering how LTE fits into the picture as far as radios go. Does the LTE system replace the cdma system or do they work together? I'm sure somebody knows. Please share.

Not 100% sure, but I believe they work in conjunction, based on a thread about the moto electrify over on a us cellular website; said thread involved a lot of shouting about how someone took an electrify apart and proved there was no 4G lte radio in it.
