Battery Swaps

Does anyone know whether the battery swaps are simply switching one "bad" battery for another, except that the new is fully charged? My battery on the Tour, after 9 months, is starting to decrease it's holding of charge. If I do the USCC swap, will I just get another old battery, or are the ones they use in better shape? Or do I just need to buy a new battery? thanks.

It's a total crap shoot. The terms of the program state the battery you receive might be used or refurbished, etc.

you are able to do 4 swaps a month, keep doing the swaps untill you get a GOOD battery
