9650 an upgrade from 8330?

Anyone love this phone? Talk me out of getting it? I am currently using 8330. Will I be glad I changed? Your pros and cons appreciated especially if you are former 8330 user.

Without question a step up from the 8330. The question would by why you stuck with the 8330 so long? Not that you shouldn't have, but rather what about the 8330 made you hang onto it? For example, was it the keypad? IF so, you'll like the 9650. The 9650 is much quicker and has many more features with OS6. The other question would be whether or not it would be beneficial to hang on for a while longer to see what else comes out in the near future that might actually be even better than the 9650. Personally I think you would find the 9650 to be a significant upgrade should you decide to go forward with it, but I would add that some others in the forums think that the 9650 is not long for this world on USCC. Moving from an 8330 to the 9650 will be like moving from a Chevy Geo to a Mercedes S550. Both get you from point A to point B, but one has more room for the goodies and is a way nicer ride. Enjoy!

Thanks to all for for replies. I am now hearing USCC is discontinuing 9650. Any ideas what models they will be carrying in in the fall?

It doesn't matter what you buy, ever. There will always be something new coming out down the road. Get the phone you need when you need it. When its time to upgrade again I guarantee there will be something better again.

NOthing official yet...hoping they'll carry the new bold touch. If your 8330 is in need of replacing, you might try craigslist to get something to hold you over; I love my Bold 9650 but don't know that I'd sign 2 year (or in the case of US Cell's Belief Project use my upgrade points) for it at this point in time. With all the new BB's coming down the pipe, I'd rather use my upgrade there.

Better yet, check out the crackberry marketplace. There's a really cool CB member selling a US Cell 8530 in great condition . (Just messing around, don't everybody beat on me!)
Something like that might be enough of an upgrade from the 8330 to hold you over.
