Default 9350 not for sale via Belief Points

This morning I tried to redeem my points for a new Curve.

No luck. The rep checked and it isn't available for purchase using points. Has something to do with promotion going on right now.

I ended up buying it for free, after rebate, so no harm done I guess. I'm just annoyed that I have to mess with the whole rebate thing.

At least I still have my 7600 points.

It is now, along with the Mesmerize and a few other mid-range phones. The higher end phones like Torch, Electrify, and 7 Pro are $100 after rebate.

I don't know. Should get it tomorrow.

For the first time that I can remember, I'm not super excited to be getting a new Berry. Probably because I'm happy with my 9650 but the ear speaker is going bad.
I hope the Curve surprises me.

Were you due for an upgrade? I'm just wondering how the sale this week will work if I walk into a store.
I've got enough belief points to move my upgrade date to December 5...not sure if they'll work with me.

I had 10,700 points built up and planned to use 3000 points to move up my upgrade date and the rest to buy the phone. The upgrade move was no problem but they wouldn't let me use the points to buy the phone itself.

I still got the phone for free but have to jump through the rebate hoop to get it.

All in all I will end up better off because I get to keep my points and will have enough built back up to move my upgrade again shortly after BBX phones are released.

I just checked with customer service...I have enough points to bump my upgrade to December 5. Since they can approve that 7 days early, I can take advantage of the sale prices on the last day of the sale. Cool! US Cellular rocks!

I am surprised at what an upgrade the 9350 has been to my 9650. I was skeptical, but it runs a lot smoother, and the size difference is kind of crazy. The 9350 is so incredibly thin and lightweight. I gave my 9650 to my bro-in-law and I held it while trying to do something for him the other day and it felt like a brick compared to my new phone. I think you'll like it, even if it isn't a huge step forward.

My phone gets delivered today and I'm starting to get excited.

I think my lack of excitement was due to the move from the Bold name to the Curve name.

I've realized that even if the 9930 was available I would still probably choose the Curve due to the price and the pending release of BBX next year.

it's going to be a long morning waiting for the UPS truck to show up.

I thought you said Monday was your upgrade day. That's only 4 1/2 days.

Seems like a lifetime when you're waiting for a new Berry though. Right?

By the time it actually gets to me it will probably be Wednesday of next week.

So yes, a lifetime

Oh now I get it. I thought you were going into a store. They are using second day air now so if you order Monday then yes you will get it on Wednesday.

I've been watching my package via UPS tracking and it's kinda frustrating. The fulfillment center where my order shipped from is in Dallas TX. I'm in southern Nebraska. It's literally a straight shot up highway 81 from there to here. Ground shipping would have it to me over night. Instead, I had to watch it go from Texas to Kentucky to South Dakota and finally Nebraska.

Oh well. It will get here eventually.
