Default Future calendar events

Did I read correctly that I cannot go to a future calendar event and set a profile for it? I have to do it on a day to day basis? If so is that something that may change in a future release?

Also can you not program in an end date? For instance, if I want a profile to be active from 9-5 daily forever?

Correct the calendar profile currently is for the current day. we will look at adding future profile support in the next release.

if you want to set a profile from 9-5 daily forever then in Profiler just add a New profile and set the start and end time and select the Profile. Profiles created in Profiler repeats forever until you delete it.

Thank you for the quick response. This is a tool that would be quite beneficial to our organization. 2 more quick ones if you don't mind. Any chance an audible tone as well as vibrate could happen when the phone is holstered to alert to the fact it needs to be taken out of the holster to change profiles? Also the future scheduling would be paramount to our use....any idea how long until a release that would incorporate that feature?

I really like the idea of the calender integration. I have tried so far to use it with no success. Any idea on what I am doing for the calender feature to not switch the phone to quiet like I had set it to when "Work" starts in my calender? When playing with it, the phone is not holstered nor locked.

Thanks

1 in Profiler setup the Calendar keywords if you are using the keywords
2 run Calendar and select New from the menu
3 enter the keyword that you have set in Profiler or press the menu key and select New Profile...
4 enter the start and ending time of the appt
5 save it
6 now run Profiler again and select View Temp Profiles from the menu
7 you should see the profile that you have just set in Calendar. if nothing shows up then it isnt working

I downloaded v1.2 demo yesterday so I could switch between Normal and Phone Only modes at night. I currently have one profile for Weekdays and one for Weekends. However, when I change the active days on the Weekend profile to Fri and Sat, it also changes the days for the Weekday profile as well. And vice versa if I try to change the Weekday profile to Sun-Thurs it changes the Weekend profile too. Am I doing something wrong here?

The weekday profile is set to Normal from 7am-10pm and Phone only after 10pm. Weekend profile is set to Normal from 8am-11:59pm and Phone only after 11:59pm.

Thanks!

The times aren't the same. The weekday profile is from 7am-10pm and the weekend profile is from 8am-11:59pm. It seems no matter what times I choose, the active days change for both profiles.

the changes is it when you edit the profile again or when it actually switches profile?

It changes when I try to edit the profiles. Whichever one I edit, it automatically mirrors the active days for the other profile by itself. So for now, I have 2 profiles with matching active days but different times. My goal is to have one profile for Sun-Thurs and one for Fri-Sat.

I have also two profiles and it works fine for me.
on the main screen you should see the Profile name, the times and the S M T W T F S. If you edit the Weekend Profile do you only see S and S check boxes checked?

Yes that's exactly what I've been doing. When I edit the Weekday profile to show only S M T W T and save that profile, BOTH Weekday and Weekend become set to those days even though I didn't edit Weekend. If I try editing Weekend to only F S, after I save that Weekday is also magically set to only F S.
