Also, the icon on my BOLD is really horrendous. So bad that I'm hiding the program. Is there an option to change the icon?

goto the Prefs and set the charging options.

when the profile changes the icon on the HomeScreen will change. make sure you get v1.5

Default 1.5.5 beta

Here is v1.5.5 beta with keyboard locking.
goto the menu and select Keyboard Locking Prefs and assign your own custom picture, text, font and color.

when the keyboard is locked your profiles will now work. phone calls and text msg should still work.

currently to unlock the keyboard you will need to press the * (star) key. Alt - A.

working on the Storm version now.

The charge option under preferences does NOT work when the device is being charged in a cradle, but does appear to work when the charger cable is directly connected to the device. This is a bug that hopefully you will address with future updates, especially for those of us who frequently use cradles at home and office. Thanks.

Downloaded the new beta 1.5.6 for my storm and it looks much more storm-friendly! OK and Cancel buttons appear to work fine, and landscape mode too!

The keyboard locking seems to kick in when the back light goes out. Is there any way to manually turn on the keyboard lock?

Does the keyboard lock have to display a picture or white background? Would it be possible to just display text somewhere on the main screen so I can still see the date, time, and what the current profile is?

yes the lock is happen when the LCD is off. You need to set a picture for the background. any picture will do. you can optionally delete text if you want.

we will add datetime and other info on the lock screen.

I've now tied version 1.5.6 and the phone still won't come out of standby mode. How can I get a refund as I don't see this app working on the boid.

The new 1.5.7 update looks good. On my Pearl, there's just a minor problem with the placement of the time overlapping the date and battery bar. See the attached picture.
