| | ProfilerX - The ultimate profile switching app
ProfilerX is the latest version of ProfilerPro automated sound switching application for BlackBerry OS5 and OS6.
ProfilerX now includes Location base, Bluetooth and WiFi features. You now have total control when to switch sound profile.
Get the latest beta here http://www.toysoft.ca/testing/ProfilerX.jad
Note: If you use keyboard or screen locking then we recommend that you use a 3rd party locking app. For torch and storm users you can get the free version of PatternLock lite.
ProfilerX will not work with the BB native keyboard and screen lock.

I am working around it now by just picking the 2nd or 3rd profile so that it matches the # of the profile I want activated, would be nice if they matched though.

Also, it looks like turning WiFi and Bluetooth ON/OFF when "in range" "out of range" does not work with OS7...
Unless I am doing something wrong. I have all permissions set to Allow. I have tried a few battery pulls. I turned off my screen lock password to test it out too. Still not working.

How to I get ProfilerX to switch to custom ringtone profiles? I created a couple of ringtone profiles, "Ring and Vibe" and "Ring Once". When choosing the ringtone profile I see all the default profiles and "Custom 1" to "Custom 9". I don't see the profiles I created. I tried selecting "Custom 1" and "Custom 2", ProfilerX says it's switched but the phone hasn't changed.

Edit "Custom 1" to "Ring and Vibe"
Edit "Custom 2" to "Ring Once"
Then select "Ring and Vibe" and select "Ring Once"

But I tried using two custom profiles "Ring then Vibe" and "Ring once" and could not switch between them.

In the Blackberry profile menu, it starts with All Alerts Off, Normal, Loud... to Phone Calls Only.
After that, your customs ones show up: is Ring then Vibe after Phone Calls Only? Or is Ring once after Phone Calls Only?
Make the sure orders match exactly.
Other than that...the only thing I can think of is, did you set all your permissions to Allow? And battery pull for 30secs.
After all that, it should work. Custom ones are working with my phone..

Now the only thing left is to find an autolock app that works with profilerx that will allow profile switching while locked. Any ideas? I tried Advanced AutoLock, it doesn't lock. TGrape works pretty good, but profile switching doesn't work. After unlocking with TGrape I see the profile menu shown, but not changed.

I'm also having the same problem as Autogenerate, but i'm using Bulbera's Auto Lock. As soon as I unlock the keyboard through Auto Lock, it automaticaly opens the profiles menu, but nothing is or gets changed. Is it possible to look into this matter? Thanks
Gustavo

Gustavo | probably that app does allow apps to run after locked. is there a custom lock screen for that app or it just calls the system to lock it?

So it does seem to allow apps to run after locked since the Select Profile Screen pops up when locked, but the selection is not changed.

So to clarify, app works fine if screen is unlocked, sound profile switches properly. When TGrape locks the screen, the sound profile does not switch. ProfilerX think it has switched (the icon for ProfilerX has changed), however the sound profile remains unchanged. The sound profile menu is up when the screen is unlocked, however it remains at the previous selection.

It is preventing profilerx to send commands to the sounds app
