When I surf the web, there is a small icon with one square on the upper left corner and another one on the lower right corner. The larger square is green and the whole icon is next to the unlocked padlock.

It means the person you are waiting for is talking on the phone or their phone is off. If you hit the menu key while over the person and check contact info, you see the status saying user is unreachable. Also, you'll notice it won't deliver the message until the Icon changes. The person turns their phone on or gets off the line, then it will go to the waiting for response Icon until they read it.

The icon in question for me (new user) is one that only shows when I'm using the phone. The icon looks like a small blue staircase with black outline.

What does it mean? I didn't notice it when I first got the phone last month...
