Perhaps I do not understand the symbols given in the shortcut descriptions.

If I hit "M"... I get my messages.... if I hit "space"... the message list goes to the next date section.

    hm..
Space is supposed to Scroll down one page.
I mean it shouldn't matter but..
Which Keyboard are you using?(Is it international)
It should achieve the same purpose.

That's correct. Space scrolls down. Shift+space scrolls up.

I just got my BB 9930, and I am trying to find out how to turn off dialing from home screen so that I can use the keyboard shortcuts. I checked out the video explaining how to turn off home screen dialing, but I cannot find the option to do so on the 9930 and the OS that came with the phone.

Is this option still available on OS 6 and if so, where pls.?

    Thanks

Ah, did a search (sorry, should have done that before) and found where to disable homescreen dialing and enable keyboard shortcuts.

I just noticed that the above method doesn't work if theres also an unread email below the text. Meaning, if i receive an unread email first, followed by a SMS, when I press U it goes to to the unread email.

Nonetheless, the thread is really helpful! I didn't know the BB could have such sweet shortcuts! Less reasons to use quicklaunch now. :P

Well, all you have to do is remember like 2 or 3 for a week. You'll remember those after that first week so the next week you take on 2 or 3 more. So on and so forth.
