I wish there was a keyboard shortcut to get into an SMS message quickly.

There is Qsms dwayne. Press the Q key and a pop up for sms contact appears. I use it all the time. Dial from home screen has to be set to "No". I will post a link.

Some themes bind $ to the SMS.

Minimal 6(my theme) has that keybind.

Thank you for the feedback.
I was really just hoping some crackberry newbies would see this so they could use their phones faster.

Don't forget, Y will bring up yahoo, and X gives you Windows Live messenger. Aren't keyboard shortcuts the best?

I never understood why someone would forgo shortcuts just to dial from the home screen, especially when the green button itself is a shortcut to the phone. I asked once here on the forum, and there were actually a few understandable reasons, but I forget what they were, lol.
