Default How to: Testing your HARDWARE

So... I found this uber cool "easter egg" on my blackberry...

If you go to Options>Status and then type "test" ( I know theres no field just type the word...
You get a test field for testing everything from the GPS to the trackball...
even the vibrate and keypad.

I'm sure some of the higher functioning crackberries here knew this but I found out about it and every collegue I show thinks its the neatest thing EVER.
Specially if someone says one of these functions dont work. hehe...

Does anyone else know of this and/or any other special "easter eggs" on the blackberry????

I KNOW... how I found this out was yesterday we were SLOOOOw. So I was kickin' it with some other techs and one told me about it then showed me. Me and like 4 or 5 techs all thought it was the best thing ever. I used it as a troubleshooting step a couple times throughout the day. haha... bashed some dreams of gettin replacement phones.

It works on all BlackBerry models. Try it again.

QWERTY - TEST
MultiTap - TESST

Edit note: Not tested with a 'Slimmed' OS install.

Hmm. Don't think that's gonna be a good enough reason to convince the wife I need to upgrade to the tour
