Default How To Display Images in a Forum Post

For those who may not know, the easiest way to disply an image in a post on CrackBerry.com (and not have it show just a link) is to use a image hosting site such as Photobucket.
Once you have your image there, you'll see 4 links below each image. For posting on the forums, use the last one listed - labeled "IMG Code"

Copy the code, then paste it directly into the reply on CB. That's it.

You can also post images directly from your BB using the wap forums in conjunction witrh Photobucket mobile.

Starting from scratch, you can take a photo using your Blackberry, then submit it to Photobucket. (each Photobucket user has an email address to send their photos to, click the "account options" link to get yours) Once uploaded, open the browser, then navigate to photobucket.com/mobile.

sign in, then go to the picture you want to post.

Go to the "IMG Code" link, copy the link in it's entirety - including the IMG tags in the brackets on each end.

Once copied, go to the CB.com forums and navigate to the thread you want to post in.

and paste that IMG Code into the reply box.

Then simply click "Post Reply".

As the OP of the thread, and asking nicely, please remove the pic.

sure

on a sidenote the WAP or default CB site on Operamini seems to download the same amount of data regardless of what is in the thread

this way, now everyone knows what happens

Thanks for dealing with that. The image is beautiful, but it was a data bomb.

Opera deals with that much better then the default Browser by design, but you have to respect those that are limited to Browser only.

I gather you are a professional photographer, was that your image?

Sure makes nice wallpaper.
