Where to start?

Just wondering if anyone has a lil advice for a wanna be theme builder. What programs are needed for a beginner? What websites are best for icons etc. And what is a SVG file I keep seeing? Thanx for any help.

Download Theme Builder from BlackBerry.com , read thru the tutorials and watch the videos that come with the software. Then go onto youtube, or one of the many theme sites on the web and do more research. Then stir, shake, and make your own theme. If a car fixing monkey like me can do it, anyone can

Haha. Thanx for the encouragement joe. My Bros a mechanic...very smart young man Can do anything. I will definitely start watching videos and read the tutorials. I already DLed the TB Beta and messed around with it a lil. Didn't read yet. I've got 4yr old twins at home so I'm sure the learning process will be slow. Them boys get priority but I really enjoy creating things on the computer. Used to do more before the twins. I saved the first one I did but tried to open it in the simulator and it didn't Work. :/
