What's the trick to keeping clock underlay from sliding with dock?

I'm creating a theme with a sliding dock from the top. I have created an underlay for the icons, as well as an underlay for the clock on the screen. Everything is working fine with the svg, but I can't figure out how to keep the clock underlay from shifting with the icons and icon underlay. Is there a way to lock in a specific objects position within an svg so it remains stationary regardless of the other things going on within the svg?

When you are in composer you have to have your dock in one layer and everything else that you don't want to move in a different layer. The code you put in the SVG for the hidden dock moves the entire layer, that's why you need separate ones.

Yep..exactly what mas3222 said. You seem to be on the right track, just add that layer and you will be alright.

Thanks for the lead! Worked perfectly (just had to learn a bit more about layer definition in the svg file, but wasn't too painful). Thanks again...I'm sure I'll be back soon enough for another push in the right direction.
