Trouble with device support...

I was wondering if any other theme developers out there were having a similar issue.

Lately we have seen a few support e-mails trickle in from people with certain devices or OS's that shouldn't be able to purchase or download our products. Mainly because we don't support those devices or OS's, because Theme builder has not released a new build.

For example, one theme in particular we had a couple customers purchase and download on their new Bold 9700 with a 6.0 OS. Currently we export at the 5.0 OS.

Also, since we are limited to what Theme builder allows us to do, we are not yet able to build for the 9780 device among others. Yet, we have had a couple customers who are purchasing our themes on this device.

I was just curious if anyone else is experiencing this? Of course we checked and double checked the device.txt files within the bundles, and the supported devices check list on the vendor portal, yet still we seem to be leaking a few products to unsupported devices.

Anyone out there with a similar issue?

i must admit iv had one or two for 9700/9650 running os6 able to download my themes from appworld. basically its because its a leaked OS and thats why it breaks the system. hate to put it like that, but kinda is the users fault for using unsupported OS versions.

as for other devices like the 9780, not had any of them.

if youve got themes in mobihand too, then check auto matching isnt on, as that can mess things up
